Course Level Guide

Our course levels build on each other and help ensure that dancers within each group have a similar level of experience. This allows us to adapt the content to each level, build on what you’ve already learned and progress together. That’s why it’s important to choose a level that matches your current dance skills.

The recommended duration for each level is a guideline and doesn’t mean that you automatically move up after completing a certain number of blocks. Everyone learns at a different pace. If you regularly dance at socials and events, attend additional workshops or take private lessons, you may progress faster. If you miss classes from time to time, dance less outside of class or simply need a little more time with certain concepts, it can make sense to stay at a level longer or repeat individual modules.

What matters most is not how long you’ve been attending a course, but where you currently are in your dance journey. Our level structure gives you a clear guideline while helping us keep the groups at a similar level so everyone can learn and progress effectively.

Not sure which level is right for you? Just ask us! The Bachata Bliss team will be happy to help you find the course that best matches your current level. Especially if you’ve already learned Bachata at another dance school or community and don’t want to start from the beginning, we recommend contacting us before signing up. Together, we’ll find the course level that fits you best.
